My husband is a videographer and I am a photographer, so when we were looking for someone to photograph our own wedding everyone kept asking us, “how are you going to choose your photographer?!?”. In addition to loving Lindsey’s portfolio and connecting with the style of the work that she shares, we were looking for someone who had a down to earth personality, believed in capturing little details as well as the big emotional moments, provided two photographers, delivered lots of images, released printing rights for our personal use, could be flexible with their hours, and was helpful and communicative. Lindsey delivered on all of the above. There has not been one moment, either before or after our wedding that we questioned hiring The Billings. In fact, it was one of the very best decisions we made. Looking back through our wedding photos really takes us back to that day - all of the laughter, the love, and the people. Our most important wedding detail was finding an amazing photographer, and Lindsey was that from start to finish. Lindsey made our wedding easy by figuring out our day of timeline and making sure we had all of our must-have photos. She was very professional, had an eye for great photo locations, and blended in: we never noticed her during our ceremony. While looking back at our photos, the thing I noticed most was how perfectly she captured our day. She did a wonderful job of capturing candid moments instead of staging pictures. I would highly recommend Lindsey to anyone looking for a photographer; we will be using her again for family photos in the future!
